Calculating plumbing rates can be complex, encompassing travel charges and onsite time measured in 15-minute increments. We've simplified the process for you – our hourly billing commences only upon our arrival at your location.

  • We only charge for one plumber for simple jobs, even if two plumbers are visiting. We honestly charge for what we did. However, some jobs, such as water main fixes or working at heights, require two plumbers.
  • For large projects such as renovations, request a free online quote from us. Please email admin@nexuspgd.com, including any relevant plans and photographs.
  • The provided rates apply only to simple repairs and maintenance. Different rates apply to larger projects, such as renovation plumbing.
Plumbing Head Tradesman
$130 per 1 hour + Vehicle charge
Vehicle Charge $40 per visit*
Gas Head Tradesman $160 per 1 hour * + vehicle charge
On Site Quote $120* (vehicle charge included)
Drain Unblock $300* (vehicle charge included)
Additional: Supportive Tradesman $100 per 1 hour*
Work at Height $230 per hour* + vehicle charge
* Material, sundries and special equipment is not included
* Concrete, masonry, and stone cutting, ground works are subject to an additional charge
* For some locations requiring extended travel times, additional travel fees may apply.
* All Price is GST excluded

At Nexus Plumbing, we proudly offer top-quality plumbing services across the greater Auckland area. To keep our pricing transparent, here’s a quick breakdown of our travel fees:

A Standard Travel Fee of $40 + GST applies to Albany, Rosedale, Wairau Valley, Glenfield, North Shore, Hobsonville, Massey, Henderson, New Lynn, Mt Eden, Newmarket, Mt Wellington, Onehunga, East Tamaki, Otahuhu, Mangere, Papatoetoe, Flatbush, and Manukau City Centre.

An Extended Travel Fee of $80 + GST applies to Manurewa, Papakura, Howick (Botany Downs), and Long Bay.

For locations beyond these areas, an Additional Travel Fee of up to $130 + GST may apply, based on the distance.
